GJ joined our ministry staff in January 2024. He he holds five ministry degrees from Baptist colleges and seminaries, including a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Hillary, have five children-Jack, Kenzie, Jocie, Rhett, and Ben. He enjoys coffee and watching Kentucky basketball.

Josh joined our team as the Student Pastor in 2018. In November 2019, he transitioned into the role of Discipleship and Administration Pastor. Originally from Summerville, South Carolina, he and his wife, Laura, have three children-Scarlett, Jackson, and Phinehas. He holds two degrees, including a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education and Family Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys sports, playing basketball, cooking, reading, and watching movies.

Joel has served as Student Pastor at Beacon Hill since 2020. He is a graduate of Boyce College and Southern Seminary while serving in ministry since 2016. Joel and his wife, Leslie, have been married for nearly 10 years and have two sons: Talon and Justus. Outside of doing ministry, you can find Joel enjoying reading, podcasts, watching soccer, and spending time with his family.

Jessica joined our team as the full-time Children's Director in 2020. Originally from Pickens, South Carolina, she is married to Adam, and they have five children named Daniel, Jackson, Ben, Sawyer, and Rachael. Jessica has over twenty years experience ministering to children and their families both on staff at a local church and as the director of a childcare learning center. In her free time, she likes to sing, do arts and crafts, and drink coffee.

Jake began as a full-time Worship Pastor in 2014 and has been on our staff since 2021. He is married to Monica and they have 3 kids-James, Emmy, and Lila. Jake has a Marketing degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA, and he and his family lived in Lake Charles until moving here to Somerset. Jake loves sports and playing golf. He has a strong passion for seeing God’s people engaged in worship.
